Professor Phillip Yam Sheung-chi, Cheng Pok-him, Ross Sun and his team developed a novel fintech tool that allows for effective modelling of the dependence structure among various feature variables through organised treatments, resulting in superior performance.

The tool – Comonotone-independent Bayes Classifier (CIBer), won the Silver Medal in International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva 2023.

The International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva is the largest global exhibition devoted exclusively to inventions. All the exhibited inventions have been evaluated by an international jury of specialists. This year’s exhibition showcased over 1,000 inventions from 40 countries and regions.
