Professor WONG Wing Hung (王永雄) – was awarded COPSS Distinguished Achievement Award and Lectureship (2021) (Formerly known as R. A. Fisher Award and Lectureship in 2020 and before), for his groundbreaking and fundamental contributions to statistical theory and applications, particularly in likelihood inference, Monte Carlo computation, Bayesian statistics, and computational biology.
